The Federal Republic of Ellesmere is a major global exporter of oil, hence we enjoy economies of scale, enabling us to offer our trading partners fair prices. Producing no less than 30 million barrels of oil per annum, Ellesmere easily satisfies its own demand for oil as well as demand abroad.

There a 3 notable suppliers of oil in Ellesmere:

- Baffin Fuels
This company owns one oil platform in the Baffin Bay and is making enough profit to explore undeveloped areas for expansion, considering establishing oil fields on the West coast of Greenland. This company is primarily domestic, and serves to satisfy demand for oil in Ellesmere.

- ENP
Ellesmere National Petroleum is a long established company and operates 2 major oil platforms, one in the Beaufort Sea, the other just North of the New Jura Isles. This company supplies both domestic and foreign purchasers.

- ARCTRIX
ARCTRIX is a relatively new oil company in the Federal Republic of Ellesmere, it has enjoyed rapid growth due to its innovation in advanced oil bore technology. ARCTRIX operates 3 major oil platforms, 2 are located in the Arctic Ocean, North of Point Rollo, the other platform is found off the coast of West Atol. ARCTRIX focuses primarily in exporting oil to global markets, for which demand never seems to be completely satiated. ARCTRIX is looking in to developing further oil platforms to the North.


The price for a barrel of oil is very reasonable, and is negotiable, if there's a good deal. Currently, 1 barrel of oil retails at:
1 Barrel of Oil = 60 EM (roughly 84 US$)

Due to recent territorial gains, and the establishment of 2 new oil fields, and 2 new coal mines (run by the company: Baffin Fuels), oil supply has increased by 80%, reducing average costs and thus prices to consumers.
