Mutual Defense Pact between The Country of People and The Republic of Iceland

By mutual agreement, The Country of People and The Republic of Iceland have formed a defense pact that states the following:
1. Both nations will defend one another should one be attacked.
2. Both nations agree that they will not attempt any secret operations upon one another.

The Imperial German Empire sees this as a Hostile Act, with intentions of lashing out against the Imperial German Empire, and demands that this alliance be dissolved or it's intentions specified. Germany is far from an Aggressive nation and resents that it has been labelled as one. If Germany is an aggressor anywhere it is in Peaceful Diplomacy and in Seeking it's own Protection. We have not wished to strike fear, or drive nations to the brink of war. Rather, because what we have publicized has been misunderstood, and many nations have completely falsified and twisted and have taken simple conversations as inconceivable truth.

I implore the nations of the world to think rationally and stop jumping the gun, and preparing for a war that Germany does not intend and never has intended to fight.
