2014 Winter Olympics

2014 Winter Olympics are going to be held in 8 days time. Bidding for them will stop in four days; they will work in a similar way to the RL Olympics, though your bids will be no where near as detailed (I don't need architects designs for your version of the birds nest:D, just a percentage of your GDP to be spent on it, and some very general specs)

Basically, I want 3 sentences (or more, if you insist,) explaining your nations bid for the Olympics.

If you don't want to bid, you can just enter it; of course, you can do both.

The Federal Republic of Ellesmere looks forward to participating in such a prestigious event, however, we do not feel it is in our best interests to bid for hosting the Olympics. No bid from us, but we shall be entering the games.

The state of Gloria is currently assessing whether the Winter Olympics could feasibly be held in Gloria due to our climate. We shall assess the cost of infrastructure and then make an offer depending on the result of this assessment.

The state of Gloria will also be entering into the Olympics.

The Arcadian government has seen fit to enter into the olympics. However a conclusive descision has yet to be reached on whether we shall put forth a bid or not. We will update you as soon as we make a descision.

Draconia's island between the mainland and Greenland have offered themselves as a perfect host fort he Winter olympics, the country will be opening it's ports and airports for the freedom of the world to enjoy the olympics.

The Northern Union has bid to host the 2014 Olympic Games in Upstate New York, which gets heavy amounts of snow annually. Whether the Union gets the bid or not it will still send a team of athletes to participate in the Winter Olympics. The President of the Union wishes good luck to all participating nations.

The Olympic board has decided on Draconia, Iceland as the point of the olympic games. Analysts believe that it will cost the host nation 10,000,000.00 dollars to host it, with expected dividends up to ten times the amount, over a 4 year period.

Edit/ That was supposed to be 1,840,000,000.00. The dividends will increase with it as well.

If you don't want to risk that amount (though, you will at least get the money back), thats fine, and it can be just 10 million.
